CBR fees 2027: the theory exam goes up to €52.20

The CBR has announced its prices for 2027. On average, fees go up by 2.9%, roughly in line with inflation. Studying for your theory exam? Here is what you need to know.

The key new prices

• Theory exam (A, B, AM): €50.50 → €52.20
• Car practical exam and interim test (B, B-TTT, BE): €143.50 → €148.45
• Truck and bus practical exam: €275.00 → €284.35
• Health declaration (Gezondheidsverklaring): €46.90 → €48.50

On top of that, practical tests and Code 95 refresher training get an extra €2.10 surcharge, because the CBR is tightening its supervision of them.

When does it start?

The new prices apply in 2027. The CBR has already put them into its booking system, so you can book 2027 exams now, at the new price.
